Join Huron Pines and the Huron Coastal Invasive Species Network at Besser Museum for an invasive species workday. Together, we'll remove invasive plants from the Nature Trail to prepare the site for an upcoming native planting. Invasive plants take over natural areas and crowd out native species. By pulling them out, we help make room for the plants and wildlife that belong here.
Dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Gloves and shovels will be provided.
If you have any questions, please contact Huron Pines Stewardship Project Manager, Amber Hubbard, at amber@huronpines.org or (989) 448-2293 ext. 23.
This event is hosted by Huron Pines. Huron Pines is leading the effort to inspire lakeshore communities in Michigan to join the Lake Huron Forever initiative.
