Join us to celebrate the installation of a beach cleanup station, advocated for by Rogers City Elementary students!

Each year over 22 million pounds of trash enter the Great Lakes. Let's take action to prevent marine debris for entering Lake Huron.

EVENT DETAILS:

• Anyone & everyone is welcome! Be prepared to clean up trash with students who are passionate keeping the Great Lakes clean. Get ready to laugh and have a great time!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Warm layers and sturdy footwear! May can bring showers and wind. Let's stay warm while we help Mother Earth.

• Reusable water bottle -- let's stay hydrated and prevent single-use plastic.

• Cleanup materials will be provided, but we welcome you to bring your own gloves, buckets & trash grabbers.

WHERE WILL WILL MEET:

• Near the gazebo area at Lakeside Park in Rogers City, MI.

We aim to to cultivate a culture of individual and corporate responsibility amongst Great Lakes community members, united in their commitment to an environment free from marine debris.
